How to delete Snapchat messages
Snapchat introduced the "unsend messages" feature in June. This feature allows users to delete or "unsend" a message that they sent in the app. However, you can't perform this action if a contact has already seen the message. It removes the message from everyone's phones.
Step 1: Open the Snapchat app and go to the chat where you sent the message.
Step 2: Tap and hold the message you want to delete.
Step 3: A dialog box will appear. Tap Delete.
Step 4: Confirm your action.
Your message has been deleted. Users in the chat or in a group chat won't be able to see what you sent. However, they will be notified that you deleted a chat.
