How To Post A Live Photo On Instagram

Live Photo is a great feature of the iPhone that combines video and GIF images to make something more interesting than a still image. Photos come to life with Live Photos. This innovation does more than just freeze a moment in time, which is what all still images do. It gives your photos life. Live photos are great to share. And it's easy to post your live photos on Instagram. Here's how.
How to View and Take Live Photos on Instagram
With Live Photos, you can take more than just a great picture; you can also record sound and movement. Apple's Live Photo help page says that your iPhone records what happens in the 1.5 seconds before and after you press the shutter button. You can take a Live Photo the same way you take a regular photo. Here's what you need to do.
1. Open the "camera app" on your iPhone.
2. Tap the "bullseye icon" at the top of the screen to turn on "Live Photos." At the top, there is a yellow box that says "LIVE."
3. Set up your shot and hold the device still, then press the "white circle button" (the shutter button) at the bottom once while keeping your focus on the subject for at least 1.5 seconds. Audio is also recorded and can be changed or turned off later.
4. The 1.5-second Live Photo will then be taken. For Live Photos, you need to keep the device as still as possible and treat it as if you were taking a video. You can also make sure you take great Live Photos by framing the shot before you take it.
Keep in mind that it records both images and sounds, so pay attention to background noise and what's going on around you unless you decide to turn it off later.
Live Photos can be taken with both the front and back cameras. Live Photos last for 1.5 seconds and have a high resolution, so if you take too many, you'll soon run out of space. Each Live Photo has a ".mov" file that is 3–4 MB and a "JPEG" file that is 2–5 MB. This means that they will quickly use up all the space on your phone.
Because of this, you should only leave Live Photos on by default if you have a lot of storage space or use iCloud for your photos. If you don't want to do that, it's best to only let Live Photos work when you want to take one.
How to View Your Live Photos as Animations and Edit Them
You can look at Live Photos the same way you look at all of your other photos. You can also see how the image moves, but that takes an extra step. You can change the picture however you want and post it on Instagram.
1. When you open the "Photos" app, your Live Photos will be mixed in with the rest of your photos, just like any other picture.
2. At the top of Live Photos, you'll see a "bullseye symbol" that says "LIVE." This symbol isn't on your photo; it's just a way to make it look better.
If you long-press your Live Photo, you can see it as an animation. The video or animation will start right away.
3. Swipe up on the photo to see options for playing it as a Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure animation. What you chose is saved on your iPhone.
4. Tap "Edit" in the upper right corner of your Live Photo to change it.
5. Live Photos have their own section in addition to the usual editing options for photos. Tap the "bullseye icon" in the bottom left corner of the "edit screen."
Once you're there, tap the yellow "speaker icon" in the top left corner of your Live Photo to turn off the sound.
Tap the "Live" button in the top center to turn off the "Live Photo" feature and make it act like a still photo. You can't play it in the Photos app, but it will still be a Live Photo file.
To change the Key Photo of your Live Photo, tap "Make Key Photo" and then choose a thumbnail from the list of still images at the bottom.
Now that you've changed your Live Photo, it's ready to go on your Instagram Story. Remember that you can't directly post a Live Photo to Instagram, but you can share it on IG Stories. Before adding it to your Story, Instagram automatically turns it into a "Boomerang" file.
