Mute/Unmute someone on Twitter

Twitter's mute feature allows its users to remove an account's tweets from their timeline without unfollowing or blocking that account. Once you mute someone, that account will still be able to send you direct messages. However, you won't receive any push or SMS notification from them. Muted users will not know that you've muted them. This article shows you how to mute or unmute someone on Twitter.
