
How to create a new Outlook account

Outlook.com is a webmail service developed by Microsoft, considered as a replacement for Hotmail - one of the world’s first webmail services. Your Outlook account is also a Microsoft account that gives you a permission to access other Microsoft’s products and services including Windows App Store, OneDrive, Skype, Office Online, etc.
How to sign up for a new Outlook.com account
Step 1: Go to https://outlook.live.com/owa.
Step 2: Click Create account in the upper-right corner of the page.
Step 3: Type the username that you want to use for your account and select your preferred mail ending (either @hotmail.com or @outlook.com) by clicking on the small down arrow to the right of the username box. If your username has already been taken, Outlook will show you an error message.
Step 4: Click Next.
Step 5: Enter your password and click Next.
Step 6: Fill out some personal information including your country and your birthdate, then click Next.
Step 7: You might be required to provide your phone number. If so, enter your phone number and click Send code.
Step 8: Outlook has sent a message with an activation key to your mobile number. Check your mobile, enter the key, then click Next.
Your Outlook account has been created successfully!
